Government Support for Bourke Street Survivors

Government Support for Bourke Street Survivors

The Andrews Government has shown its clear intention to support those who have suffered from the events on Bourke Street on Friday 20th January.

Support such as counselling, medical treatment and loss of income compensation is available to anyone who is suffering or has lost income following the events either due to physical injury or witnessing the crime.

If you were on a lunch break at work you are entitled to benefits from WorkSafe. Otherwise you will be entitled to benefits from the TAC.

Further, there will be many victims of crime from witnessing the events. Claims will be available to the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal (VOCAT).

Arnold Dallas McPherson are experts in assisting with the processes of TAC, WorkSafe and VOCAT. Please call us for free and expert guidance as to how to access medical and income support on 1800 242 588 or enquire on our contacts page.
