Kirstie Lyons is a Partner and Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law at Arnold Dallas McPherson, based primarily in the firm’s Bendigo office. Since joining ADM in 2010, Kirstie has built extensive experience helping injured Victorians navigate complex compensation schemes and obtain fair compensation following workplace injuries, transport accidents, medical negligence and other incidents involving negligence.

Professional Background

Kirstie commenced her career with Arnold Dallas McPherson in 2010 as a Law Graduate after completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science. She was admitted to legal practice in 2012 and has dedicated her entire legal career to personal injury law.

Over more than 15 years at ADM, Kirstie has developed extensive expertise across WorkCover claims, TAC claims, public liability claims, medical negligence matters and injuries caused by negligence. Kirstie started her career at ADM assisting victims of crime in their applications for compensation including pursuing compensation directly from offenders.  She has assisted clients throughout Regional Victoria in navigating complex compensation systems and achieving meaningful outcomes following injury.

In 2019, Kirstie became an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law through the Law Institute of Victoria. Accredited Specialisation is awarded to practitioners who demonstrate advanced knowledge, substantial experience and expertise in a particular area of law through a rigorous assessment process.

Kirstie’s commitment to professional excellence extends beyond her own practice. She currently serves on the Law Institute of Victoria Personal Injury Accredited Specialisation Committee, contributing to the ongoing development of personal injury law and the accreditation of future specialist practitioners.

She is also a mentor with the La Trobe University Industry Mentoring Program, supporting and guiding future legal professionals.

In 2026, Kirstie joined the Partnership at Arnold Dallas McPherson, recognising both her expertise and longstanding contribution to the firm and its clients.

Local Experience

Based primarily in Bendigo, Kirstie also assists clients throughout Echuca, Shepparton and surrounding regional communities.

Living and working in Regional Victoria has given Kirstie a strong understanding of the challenges often faced by injured people outside metropolitan areas, including accessing treatment, support services and legal assistance.

She is passionate about ensuring regional Victorians have access to high-quality legal advice and representation close to home and remains committed to helping local people through some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

Over the course of her career Kirstie has supported and mentored many law students and trainee lawyers. Kirstie was previously a regular volunteer with the Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Service, a committee member of the Bendigo Law Association and Young Lawyers Representative to the Law Institute of Victoria. She is currently a mentor with the Latrobe University Mentoring program and has attended the Bendigo campus to talk with current law students about her experience.

Personal Passions

Kirstie loves to travel and explore new places with her family, including all over Regional Victoria.  She can often be found cheering on her son at soccer or helping her daughter practice her dance routines. In her spare time, Kirstie enjoys cooking and baking delicious treats!
