Lachlan Singe

Lachlan is a Partner at Arnold Dallas McPherson and an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law with more more than 20 years of experience in Personal Injury Law. He joined the firm in 2004 as an Articled Clerk, was admitted to legal practice in 2005 and became a Partner in 2020.

In the course of his career he has helped hundreds of injured Victorians pursue compensation through all areas of personal injury law, including WorkCover, TAC, public liability and negligence claims. As an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law, Lachlan has  advanced expertise in this area and regularly works on complex compensation matters.   While Lachlan practises across all areas of personal injury law, he has particular expertise in WorkCover claims, TAC claims, medical negligence matters and complex compensation claims involving serious injuries and long-term impairments.

In addition to his law degree, Lachlan holds a Science degree with a major in physiology and a particular interest in neuroscience. This background assists him when working with complex medical evidence, particularly in matters involving serious injuries, neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries.

Professional Background

Lachlan completed degrees in Law and Science at Monash University before returning to Bendigo and joining ADM in 2004.

In 2020, Lachlan joined the partnership and continues to play a leading role within both the firm and the broader legal profession. He is currently Chair of the Law Institute of Victoria Personal Injury Accredited Specialisation Committee, helping oversee the accreditation process for lawyers seeking specialist recognition in personal injury law.

In 2015, Lachlan became an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law through the Law Institute of Victoria. Accredited Specialisation is awarded to lawyers who demonstrate advanced knowledge, substantial experience and expertise in a specific area of law through a rigorous assessment process.

Lachlan successfully completed the accreditation examinations at his first attempt and was later appointed to the Law Institute of Victoria Personal Injury Advisory Committee. He has served on the committee for more than a decade and is currently Chair of the Personal Injury Accredited Specialisation Committee, helping oversee the accreditation of future personal injury specialists throughout Victoria.

Lachlan is also a Trustee of Law Aid, a not-for-profit trust established by the Victorian Parliament, the Law Institute of Victoria and the Victorian Bar. In this role he helps assess applications for funding of complex personal injury matters that may otherwise be unable to proceed.  Throughout his career, he has remained actively involved in the Australian Lawyers Alliance and the Bendigo legal community.
